Membership Process
- Applicants can email any LPL member asking to be sponsored. The member either agrees, or if they are too overloaded, they suggest trying another member.
- Once an applicant finds a sponsor, they should submit the "LPL Application" form found on the LPL homepage. Sponsored Applicants are called "Apprentices". Their sponsor interviews them, plays with them until such time as Step 3 is warranted.
- The procedure for sponsoring an apprentice for membership: You, the sponsor are to mail Witchking the minimum information on your apprentices when you submit them for Membership. This includes their player name, their character name, their valid email address their ICQ number. You must also include a testimonial explaining why you think the apprentice is ready to become a member.
- Witchking puts it in the next update, and if by the next update there are no objections, that person is a member. Objections mean you have direct first hand knowledge of that person cheating. Disputes are resolved as follows: Sponsor, objectors, and applicant get in a three way email. Objector states reasons why applicant is rejected, citing specific instances. Applicant defends himself by doing his or her best to go find some objective proof. If the matter is not resolved, it is put forth to the rest of LPL in the next update.
